Sales Associate

If you answered yes (even to that last question ... we do polish a lot of tables around here), we want to talk to you. We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented sales associate to help place our quality, hand-crafted furniture into the hands of happy clients! We’re a small team focused on the growth of one another, so we’re looking for someone who can jump into the team quickly while bringing in their own unique style. At the end of the day, we want you to help us make our clients' dream homes come to life!

 

The ideal candidate must be able to elevate customer satisfaction, work well with the existing team, and help the team meet monthly sales goals. In addition to being a great communicator, candidates should also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Greet each customer like family when they walk through the door.

• Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

•  Develop proficiency in quoting custom orders for prospective clients.

•  Brainstorm business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability … and bring those to the team so we can act on them!

•  Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

•  Undertake administrative duties, such as executing the cleaning schedule, answering phone calls / emails, etc.

 

Requirements:

• Any sales training / education a huge plus!

• Experience working in a retail environment.

• Customer service oriented.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Outgoing, friendly attitude.

 

Job Type:

• Part-Time (20-30 hours / week)

 

Pay:

• $17.50 / hour + commission

 

Schedule:

• Our showroom is open Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Wednesday - Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., but we offer a flexible schedule based on our sales associates’ needs.
